How to Delete Purchase History on Amazon
Ways to hide your Amazon purchases, clear browsing data, and manage product recommendations.
Archiving purchases
Amazon does not allow you to permanently delete your purchase history. However, you can archive individual orders so they no longer appear in your default order list. This is the closest option to deletion that Amazon offers.
How to archive orders0 / 3 checked
Quick answer
You cannot permanently delete Amazon purchase history. Archive orders to hide them from your main order list. Clear your browsing history separately in account settings. Remove specific items from your recommendations to stop them influencing suggested products. Amazon retains all order data internally for legal and tax purposes.
Clearing browsing history
Your Amazon browsing history tracks every product page you visit. This data feeds into recommendations. To clear it, go to Your Account, then Browsing History. You can remove individual items or turn off browsing history entirely.
Clearing your browsing history does not affect your orders. They are two different data sets.
In Browsing History settings, toggle off the feature to stop Amazon tracking pages you visit.
Amazon may still use purchase data for recommendations even if browsing history is cleared.

Managing recommendations
Amazon uses your purchases and browsing to suggest products. You can improve your recommendations or remove embarrassing suggestions by going to Your Account, then Improve Your Recommendations. Mark items as "not interested" or remove purchases from your recommendation profile.
