Posting certificates

Certificates including academic diplomas, professional qualifications, and awards are often irreplaceable originals. They need rigid protection to prevent bending, creasing, and moisture damage during posting.

600gsm+ board backing for originals that cannot be reprinted
C4 for A4 certificates with 5-10mm clearance per side
Cellophane sleeve for moisture protection especially for embossed or foil elements

Quick answer

Use a 600gsm+ board-backed C4 envelope for A4 certificates, wrap in acid-free tissue or cellophane, and seal with peel-and-seal. For legal documents, add tracked delivery for proof of posting. For artwork, add backing card on both sides. All three benefit from clear DO NOT BEND printing on the exterior and careful size selection that leaves clearance without excess space.

Artwork and prints

Fine art prints and photographs are the most damage-sensitive items posted in do not bend envelopes. Use the highest board weight (600-700gsm), wrap in acid-free tissue, add backing card on both sides for valuable originals, and use cellophane sleeves for moisture protection.
