Why MOQs exist
Custom tape requires printing setup: plate creation, ink mixing, machine configuration, and test runs. These fixed costs must be spread across enough rolls to make the per-unit price viable. This is why custom tape has higher minimums than plain tape.

Typical MOQs are 36-72 rolls for flexographic printing, or as low as 6-12 rolls for digital printing. Flexographic is cheaper per roll at volume but has higher setup costs (plates). Digital printing has no plate costs but higher per-roll pricing. For first orders, digital is often the better option. For repeat orders at volume, flexographic becomes more cost-effective.
